Ready to get healthy at work?
If you’re ready to prioritize the mental health and well being of your employees but don’t know where to start, you’re not alone.
It can be difficult to create a healthy environment at work if you don’t have the strategy or the resources to successfully support the mental health concerns of your employees. We can help.

An EAP, or employee assistance program, is a confidential, short term, counselling service for employees with personal difficulties that affect their work performance.
EAPs grew out of the industrial alcoholism programs of the 1940's and were adopted by large companies to promote wellness through written policies, supervisor and employee training, and, where appropriate, an approved drug testing program.
However, many traditional EAPs (or wellness programs) do not address the mental health concerns of employees in an effective way.
Overall, feedback from employees show that traditional EAPs have low utilization rates and a number of short-falls including:
>> Poor communication of the mental health services available.
>> Services are too general with no specialized support available.
>> A “call-center” intake model makes employees feel like they are just another number in the queue.
>> Virtual or phone counselling options only.
>> Too complicated to access.
-
Most traditional EAPs have a focus on operational procedures and are designed with large corporations in mind - both in scale and cost.
First and foremost, we are licensed mental health professionals. We have the expertise to address important employee and workplace concerns and provide you with the strategy and resources you need for the ‘healthiest’ and most productive outcomes.
Our goal is to make it easier for small and medium sized organizations (of all types and within all fields and industries) with the guidance, training and tools needed to make mental health a priority in the workplace… even if they don’t have a large team or a large budget.
That’s why we created this healthy@work Partner Program. Now local workplaces and their employees can get access to a variety of therapeutic services tailored to their individual needs.
