Let’s see if we’re a good fit…

Forgive your mistakes, accept your flaws, be proud of your strengths and love yourself unconditionally.

I think the biggest misconception about mental health is that mental illness is ‘not real’ or is all in one’s head and doesn’t require professional intervention. Mental health is not only just as important as physical health but the two are mutually dependent on each other.

To me, mental health means wellbeing of the mind, body and spirit. I feel mental health and physical health are tightly interconnected. Also, having good mental health means feeling good within oneself and can enable a person to reach their full potential.

I am passionate about my profession, which fuels my dedication to my clients and to my work. Childhood is a particularly sensitive time of life so I especially enjoy working with children in a therapeutic capacity and find that I am adept in connecting with kids.

By providing a safe space to discuss whatever is on their mind, without judgment and with empathy, I strive to help those I work with to feel better. My goal is to empower them to implement positive changes in their lives, either in their actions or in their thoughts or attitudes.

I want you to know that I am a compassionate, friendly and enthusiastic person and I believe establishing a positive and trusting relationship is critical for effective therapy. I want you to guide you towards creating positive changes for yourself.

I’m here for you.

Q&A

  • I strive to make a positive difference in the lives of others, and mental health and therapy has always been an area of particular interest for me.

  • I especially enjoy working with children, and always have. Children's honesty and innocence can bring great joy and humor to the work.

Moreover, childhood is a sensitive time of life so therapeutic work can often have great impact and can be preventative in some cases.

  • I believe I have strength in building good rapport with clients, mostly due to my easygoing personality and my high level of empathy, and I am also passionate about my profession, which fuels my dedication to my clients and to my work.

  • I believe it is important to be: empathetic, kind, personable, a good listener, knowledgeable, reliable, responsible and confident.

  • What I most value in a client is their willingness to be fully honest and vulnerable in the therapy space and their trust in the therapist.

  • I love working directly with people of various backgrounds and stories, and helping them feel better and do better.
