Let’s see if we’re a good fit…
The biggest misconception is that 1 in 4 people experience mental health crisis, when in reality how we cope with each daily stressor is the context in which we continue to maintain our state of wellness or decompensate.
To me, mental health is the the ability to adapt to stress and maintain overall wellness of an individuals mental and emotional state. A belief that ties into my personal mantra: “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”
If you would like someone to walk with you every step of the way towards curating wellness in your life…
I want you to know that I am a walking advocate of staying true to yourself.
I’m here for you.
Q&A
-
After healing my own wounds and then being able to experience the contentment of each day, I decided the most honourable and fulfilling thing I could do is to support others through the process of shifting from pain and sorrow to healing and joy.
-
As a BIPOC mental health professional, I can relate to the experiences and challenges associated with racial identity, especially with regards to youth and women.
I help people to identify the ways in which they remain in a place of stagnation to then begin cultivating internal progression to see external results.
-
I will be thoughtful of your needs, where you are currently (emotionally, physically and mentally), and your goals.

I believe that honesty and kindness are important qualities to have as a therapist.
-
What I value most in a client is transparency, respect and openness.
-
I love the moments of realization that count as an "Aha" moment. An individual can put the end to their own self-sabotage and take back control of their life. Witnessing that shift in real-time is beautiful. I also love instilling hope in people.
