Let’s see if we’re a good fit…

Just take the next step.

I think the biggest misconception about mental health is that mental illnesses are permanent. In reality, people can recover and make significant improvements in their lives with the right support.

To me, mental health is an all-encompassing term. Our mental health impacts how we experience every single moment of our lives. I think it is crucial to acknowledge this and make our mental health a priority.

However, in life it’s easy to get caught up in the overwhelm when trying to make changes, and sometimes it can be difficult to know what steps to take. Learning how to small changes and take things one step at a time can help immensely and lead to lasting positive change.

As a therapist, I can help you as you take those steps by supporting and facilitating the change you are looking for while keeping you focused on your goals. My goal is to you feel safe when you are with me, that you will trust me to keep you accountable, and that you look forward to our sessions together.

If you’re looking for a therapist who is genuine, understanding, and provides practical strategies and tools you can take with you on your journey, I am here to support you with whatever you bring to the space.

I’m here for you.

Q&A

  • Ever since I was a child, I’ve always found joy in helping others. To me, there is no greater reward than supporting someone to create positive changes in their life. There is something so special about the one-on-one aspect of psychotherapy that drew me to the profession, and I am honoured to walk alongside my clients as they navigate their own therapy journeys.

  • As a therapist, I hold a special focus on supporting children and youth with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and socio-emotional issues. I understand that each client will bring their own unique experiences and lenses to therapy and that there is no one-size-fits-all solution for each client.

  • I’d like potential clients to know that we will work together to create positive change and accomplish goals.

I welcome clients for who they are, and as they are, and I will create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their unique life stories.

When working with me, we will collaborate together to build a trusting relationship, work towards goals, and develop tools to support you through life’s challenges.

  • Some qualities that are important as a psychotherapist are: authenticity, strong communication skills, open-mindedness, flexibility, and trustworthiness.

  • When working with clients, I value their openness and willingness to create change, their ability to reflect, and their commitment to continually show up to sessions to foster growth.

  • The most incredible part about my job is having the opportunity to witness people transform their lives.

Developing meaningful connections and a trusting relationship makes this profession such a rewarding experience.
