Let’s see if we’re a good fit…

None of us know everything. We learn as we grow. We learn through our individual and collective experiences.

The biggest misconception about mental illness is that it’s not something that everyone has to deal with - that it’s a weakness.

It seems trendy to talk about wellness but why are we so afraid to talk about mental health? Wellness is an overall sense of positive health and this needs to include both our bodies and our minds.

To me, mental health is about taking care of yourself - your whole self - and learning positive ways to cope with stressors. I can help contribute to your better health by providing you with a sense of hope and guidance as we navigate through your mental health concerns. It is my hope that you will realize that you have strengths in you that you didn’t even know existed.

I’m here for you.

Q&A

  • I have always wanted to work with children and adolescents to help them cope with mental health concerns so they can move forward through life and thrive.

  • I enjoy working with children and adolescents and addressing communication issues and changing family dynamics.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families as they cope with issues such as anxiety, mood disorders and depression. This also includes acute mental health issues such as suicide, chronic pain, and grief and loss.

  • Working with me is a partnership. My goal is always to meet you where you are and where you are most focused.

  • I believe that patience, empathy, understanding, and an open mind are important personal qualities for a therapist to have.

  • What I value most in a client is honesty and openness.

  • What I like most about what I do, is the ability to help my clients see their own strengths and abilities.
