Let’s see if we’re a good fit…

Life is ever-changing and it’s important to remember that we all have good days and bad days. Mental health is learning how to cope with those bad days.

The biggest misconception about mental illness is that in order to seek professional help it must mean that you’re “crazy” or “weak.” However struggling with mental health is something that everyone goes through at some point or several points during their life. It’s perfectly normal.

To me, wellness and mental health are connected. Wellness is taking care of your mind and body. It means doing the things that make you feel physically, emotionally and mentally healthy and happy. Mental health is learning how to maintain your well-being and cope with life’s challenges when they come your way.

I’m here to be your sounding board - an open, unbiased individual whose sole concern is to help you work through those stressful situations in life. My ultimate goal is to guide you along your journey towards healing and a better life.

I’m here for you.

Q&A

  •  Going through my own struggles with mental health and seeking out professional help. In doing so it allowed me to see the importance and value in having a safe space to go and talk through my personal struggles. Having this space made me want to pursue a career in helping others who may also be struggling so they too can not feel alone.

  • I specialize in working with clients struggling with anxiety depression and life stressors. Those who are looking to explore and challenge their inner thoughts through the exploration of new perspectives. Those who are looking to embrace and explore all the parts of themselves in their journey to healing and growth.

  • I want to start by saying thank you, choosing to come to counselling takes immense courage. I want potential clients to know that I am here to walk along side them through their therapeutic journey to create positive lasting change in their lives. My commitment is to always put your wants and needs first. To allow you a space to confront your struggles in a space where you feel supported, validated and heard. My role as your therapist is to understand your unique struggles and help you navigate the best way to change and grow. We will work together to achieve your therapeutic goals through a client-centred approach. I strongly believe my approach to counselling should be as unique as you and your journey.

  • I feel that it is important for a therapist to be empathetic, active listening, patience, compassion, cultural sensitivity, open and attentive to their clients needs.

  • What I value most in a client is that they are open to the process of creating meaningful change in their lives through self-reflection and compassion.

  •  I love getting to help people reach their full potential and facilitate positive change in their lives, no matter how small.
