Let’s see if we’re a good fit…

Life is ever-changing and it’s important to remember that we all have good days and bad days. Mental health is learning how to cope with those bad days.

The biggest misconception about mental illness is that in order to seek professional help it must mean that you’re “crazy” or “weak.” However struggling with mental health is something that everyone goes through at some point or several points during their life. It’s perfectly normal.

To me, wellness and mental health are connected. Wellness is taking care of your mind and body. It means doing the things that make you feel physically, emotionally and mentally healthy and happy. Mental health is learning how to maintain your well-being and cope with life’s challenges when they come your way.

I’m here to be your sounding board - an open, unbiased individual whose sole concern is to help you work through those stressful situations in life. My ultimate goal is to guide you along your journey towards healing and a better life.

I’m here for you.

Q&A

  • I understand what it’s like to be that person ‘in the chair’ struggling. At one point in my life, I was in that seat of a therapy room and experienced first-hand what it’s like to work through life’s challenges with a therapist. My experience showed me the value of having an unbiased person to talk to and guide me through what I was facing. I want to be that person for others.

  • I have always had a strong interest in psychology and understanding people, and this passion has grown into a genuine want to help people grow in life.

I particularly enjoy working with those who want to build healthier relationships, but overall I love interacting with all types of people. I could not think of a better career than to spend the rest of my life interacting with people and helping them grow. To me there isn’t anything else I would rather do.

  • No matter how many times you fail, you can always get back up and move forward, because all of these struggles in life are an opportunity to make you stronger. They are a part of your story - but not the end.

Struggles will shape who you are, so you might as well be the one in control of how your story is written. I can help.

I am here to attentively listen and help you in any way you need. I am not here to judge you. I am here to guide you.

My goal is to have my clients feel that I am kind, easy to talk to, a good listener, and that I truly care about helping them.

  • I feel that it is important to be empathetic, an attentive listener and non-judgemental.

  • What I value most in a client is that they are open to the process..

  • I love that I get to help people everyday, even if it is in a small way. The idea and the feeling I get when I know I am helping someone and making a positive change in their life, is the best feeling I have experienced. I appreciate being a part of someone’s positive life journey.
